 COMI 1100

This computer literacy course provides a comprehensive introduction to the principles of computers and information processing. Students will be introduced to the operation and terminology of computer system as well as certain microcomputer application packages such as word processing (Word), spreadsheets (Excel), presentation graphics software (PowerPoint) and database management (Access).

 We have chosen to use myitlab as a component of your course. myitlab provides you with a training and testing environment for Microsoft Office 2007, computer skills, and computer concepts.
