- Using all of this information write a draft. Create a title
and add Draft #1.
- Attach the steps in reverse order -- draft #1 goes on top,
(pre-writing) on the bottom.

NOTE FOR THIS PROCESS YOU WILL BE ANNOTATING YOUR DRAFT #1
AS NOTED IN CHAPTER 8.
Revise for unity, coherence and detail.
Edit for grammar, spelling and punctuation.
Other annotations include
Ask questions (p.27). Have you fully, precisely and concretely
accounted for all the answers to these questions?
Select an order (time, space, order of importance). Verify that your
work is in correct order. Is this reflected in your work?
Add at least three transitions. This will map to your order and
specific type of essay.
Add all necessary details.
Add a new interesting title.
Include a paragraph or essay checklist for your specific type of
essay – narrative, descriptive, illustrative, etc. Make sure
that you have fully reviewed it.
Complete the postwrite
form.
Using all of this information write a revise and edited draft.
Use the new title and add Draft #2.
Attach the steps in reverse order -- (Draft #2) goes on top, (the
revised and edited Draft #1) on the bottom.
