Oral Communications
LIST OF SPEECHES & GRADING SYSTEM

This semester you will work towards a new look:  ORGANIZED and CONFIDENT. To achieve this goal, you will deliver 8 speeches--2 group speeches and 6 solo speeches.  There will be no written examinations.  Your efforts out of class should go into speech preparation and practice.  In class, work at watching and listening -- all a part of the communications process.  You are graded (15% worth) on your attendance, attitude towards peers, professor and guests, and participation in the classroom.

TEXTBOOKS NEEDED:
The Little Book of Communications   and   Rhode Island's Friendly Faces
