Field Placement Assignment
Those with ‘A FULL DAY’ assignment must be present at their site
prior to the arrival of their students and are to remain until
dismissal.
Those with ‘A TWO FULL MORNINGS’ assignment must be present at their
site prior to the arrival of their students. The Field
Placement Supervising Teacher should determine when it would be
appropriate to leave (for example, lunch). Each morning must
be a minimum of three hours.
Field Placement Absenteeism
If a CCRI student anticipates being absent from his/her Field Placement, he/she must notify the Field Placement Supervising teacher. All absences must be made up.
Field Placement Responsibilities
Field Placement & Seminar students will be expected to carry out those responsibilities assigned by the Field Placement Supervising Teacher. Active participation is a must in the assigned classroom
Field Placement Seminar
Field Placement students are also required to attend a weekly seminar. Specific written logs and documentation of Field Placement goals will be assigned.
If a student misses more that three Seminars, he/she will be asked to
drop the course and re-enroll at a time when he/she can fully realize
the opportunities of this training.
