A represents excellent/superior performance for a total of 29 to 33 points
B indicates very good/above average performance for a total of 24 to 28 points
C reflects average performance for a total of 14 to 23 points
F is a failure to meet minimum standards with a total of 13 points or below
Teacher Evaluation for a total of 1-4 points
Writing Skills for a total of 1-3 points
- 3 points equals no misspellings, well thought out sentences, very neat appearance
- 2 points equals a few misspellings, brief phrases, neat appearance
- 1 point equals frequent misspellings, incomplete, run-on sentences, illegible writing
- 0 points reflects failure to meet minimum standards
Goals for a total of 1-3 points
- 3 points indicates pre-planning, original materials
- 2 points indicates pre-planning, commercially made materials
- 1 point meets minimal standards
- 0 points reflects failure to meet minimal standards
Instructional Objectives for a total of 1-2 point
- 2 points reflects well stated objectives that are aligned with the lesson
- 1 point reflects minimal documentation of learning outcomes
- 0 points reflects failure to meet minimal standards
Beginning Teacher Standards for a total of 1-2 points
- 2 points represents thorough references to lessons
- 1 points reflects minimal alignment with lessons
- 0 points reflects failure to meet minimum standards
Attendance for a total of 1-3 points
- 3 points for perfect attendance
- 2 points for missing one class
- 1 point for missing 2 classes
- 0 points for having missed three classes – if a student misses more than three Seminars, he/she will be asked to drop the class and re-enroll at a time when he/she can fully realize the opportunities of this training
Punctuality for a total 1–3 points
- 3 points for being on time for every class; never leaves early
- 2 points for being late once, leaves early once
- 1 point for being late twice, leaves early twice
- 0 points for being habitually late
Assignments for a total of 1-3 points
- 3 points if all assignments are submitted on time
- 2 points if one assignment is submitted late
- 1 point if two assignments are submitted late

- 3 points if all topics are represented, very neat appearance
- 2 points if all topics are represented, appearance needs some improvement
- 1 point if some topics are not represented, appearance needs improvement
- 0 points if 50% of topics are not represented
Research Paper for a total of 0-4 points (a grading rubric will be
distributed in class)
- A grade of A is equal to 4 points
- A grade of B is equal to 3 points
- A grade of C is equal to 2 points
- A grade of D is equal to 1 point
- A grade of F is equal to 0 points
