Introduction to Clinical Laboratory Science

This course offers a basic introduction to the clinical laboratory.  Current concepts and general principles of all areas connected with the  medical laboratory field are explored.  Professional adjustment, in regards to patients, doctors and hospital personnel and the role of the health profession in the clinical laboratory will be discussed.  The student will be introduced to selected basic techniques used in the clinical laboratory, as well as performed selected techniques in the CLT training laboratory.
