About Me

My name is Sarah Brown. Most people that know me call me “Brownie” For obvious reasons. I have lived in North Kingstown my entire life. I am 18 years old and I work at Starbucks in East Greenwich. I love working at Starbucks and I have never had so much fun while working as I have working for Starbucks. For fun I like to spend time with my best friends and listen to music. Some of my favorite bands are The Kooks, Radiohead, and Paramore. I also enjoy Jack Johnson, Regina Spektor and Dispatch. I like to get sushi at Seven Moons and I try to fit yoga in my schedule at least twice a week. I love to watch movies. Some of my favorites include; Little Miss Sunshine, Life as a House and Garden State. I recently went to RIC to see Barack obama speak and it was an amazing experience. I would like to travel someday and maybe join the peace corp. I like to try and make everyday a positive experience no matter what I am doing. I have found that being negative and focusing on the things you do wrong or fail at is really not productive. If I learn something new, meet someone new, or at least try and smile most of the day, I consider it a good day. This is my first semester at CCRI. I am working on a degree in marketing. I transferred here from RIC. I have no clue what I want to do with my life which is why I am at CCRI.
