Unlike
Shiloh, Corinth was a Township at the Time of the Civil War.
Typically, Civil War Battles
Took Place In and Around Towns. The Corinth Battlefield was not
Preserved in the Manner of
Shiloh Battlefield. The Land was Developed and Remains to this Day
in Private Use.
The Corinth Battlefield is Separate from the Shiloh one. Due to
Proximity, Corinth is Part
of Shiloh National Park and is managed by the same superintendent. |
