Providence Rescue Mission

CCRI student organizations are very active in community service.  Many organizations participate in on-campus as well as off-campus activities to give something back to the community.  The CCRI Knight Leaders participated in the following Community Service Activities for the fall semester.  Many other community service events and activities are planned for the spring.

Our Relationship with the Providence Rescue Mission

Last spring we were introduced to the good works of the Providence Rescue Mission.  The Providence Delta Epsilon Chi Chapter asked us to join them in the work there.  Our predominant role is to assist in the food pantry.

This fall we conducted a food drive (launched during Harvest Fest, 10/25/06.  We delivered approximately 600 pounds of canned goods and four (4) fresh turkeys for Thanksgiving Dinner.
