Networking Session
The First Annual CCRI Night at Mulligan’s Island
October 3, 2006
We began planning this event in May 2006. The original intent was to raise funds for travel and to create an evening of fun for our members. The Providence Delta Epsilon Chi Chapter expressed interest in working with us and collaboratively we executed a successful social and fundraising event.
Results:
o Three (3) Rhode Island Delta Epsilon Chi Chapters were in attendance (CCRI Warwick and Providence Campuses and Bryant University)
o Net Profit: $1800.00
o Donated $500 to St. Jude’s Research Hospital
o 131 Golfers
o Members of the College Athletic Teams
o CCRI Foundation Members
o CCRI Alumni Members
o College Faculty & Administration
o Family & Friends
o Participants enjoyed 18 holes of miniature golf and purchased refreshments donated from local businesses and made by members of the Warwick and Providence Chapters.
We are currently working with the owner/proprietor of Mulligan’s Island to begin planning for the 2nd Annual CCRI Night at Mulligan’s Island.
