Delta Epsilon Chi, Knight Campus, Warwick Rhode Island was honored to host a meeting of local business leaders. The four members of our panel graciously donated their time to come and speak to not only Delta members but also John Ribezzo the Business Department Chair of CCRI Warwick and Sal Solomon a member of the Governors Board for Higher Education and a former advisor to this Delta Epsilon Chi chapter.
Invited participants were invited to speak on any subject from their occupation that they thought would assist the students. Senator Leo Blaise from Rhode Islands 24th District and owner of Pawtuxet Valley Prescription and Surgical Center, Susan Hansen from Bank of America, Nima Alhma from National Advisory Board company Finish Line and Susan McDonald from FM Global. A note of interest to all the members present was that Ms. McDonald is a former President of CCRI Warwick’s DEX Chapter.
Each discussed their current and past occupations and the career path that led them to where they are today. A question and answer period followed with questions ranging from job availability in each company represented to the legality of medical marijuana. All questions were asked and answered professionally.
Finish Line was kind enough to donate lunch for the event which all participants and attendees were invited to. The panel members were gracious enough to answer questions during lunch with individual DEX members.
