Text:  Calculus, 8th edition, Larson/Hostetler/Edwards, Houghton Mifflin, 2006

 

Materials:  Graphing Calculator with mathematical functions.

 

Prerequisite:   Math 1900 with grade of A, B, or C; or appropriate placement test score

 

Grades:  The course grade will be based on

                        6 Graded Assignments @ 10% each =  60%

                        Midterm Exam                                    =  20%

                        Final Exam                                          =  20%

                                                                                        100%

Guidelines:  The best preparation for class is to take notes prior to class.  Read the material in the assigned sections for that class period.  Study the examples in that section.  Write supplementary notes in the margin of your textbook. Do the assigned exercises.

 

Course Policy for Disability Services
