Guidelines: This course is designed for maximum student
participation. You are expected to
attend class prepared to discuss the assigned topics in small groups as well as
to answer questions when asked by the instructor.
The best preparation for class is to
take notes prior to class. Read the
material in the assigned sections for that class period. Study the examples in that section. Write supplementary notes in the margin of
your textbook. Jot questions about the definitions and examples in the
margins. Ask questions in class.
