Homework/Classwork Assignments - Weeks 1-5
Fall 2009
Expect to spend an average of 2 hours doing homework per hour spent in class. For this 3-hour (+1 hr. lab) class, that equals 6 hours of homework per week. 2 to 3 hours of homework per class-hour is the norm for undergraduate courses at U.S. colleges. For example see Santa Ana College, CA
IMPORTANT: Save the downloaded student data files and all web development work done in these homework assignments to your flash drives. If the homework requires written work, please use MS Word, and save to a folder within your COMI 1771 folder on your flash drive. Be sure to set-up a header on each page of the written work with the course name, the assignment, date and your name.
Please note: Reading assignments include the development of the "Tradewinds" web site.
*Real Life Independent Challenges are for students who plan to also enroll in COMI 1772 & 1773.
