 IMPORTANT NOTES:

IMPORTANT NOTES:

I reserve the right to raise or lower final grade due to attendance and tardiness, class contribution and participation, attitude and/or other subjective values.

NOTE:  THIS IS A COMPUTER CLASS—PART OF YOUR GRADE IN THIS CLASS IS BASED ON YOUR PERFORMANCE—THE LAB ASSIGNMENTS THAT I ASSIGN.  THE LAB ASSIGNMENTS ARE A CRUCIAL PART OF THIS COURSE.  IF YOU DO NOT DO THE LAB ASSIGNMENTS, YOU WILL NOT PASS THIS COURSE.

Attendance and Tardiness are important factors in determining your grade.  Two absences or fewer and no latenesses will exempt you from the final exam.  More than 3 absences will result in a reduction of your grade.  No absences will result in raising your grade.

TESTS:  A student who missed a test FOR ANY REASON will make up the test within one week; the MAXIMUM grade on a make-up test is a 75.  Tests that are not made up within the specified time will be recorded as a 0.

LAB ASSIGNMENTS:  I DO NOT ACCEPT ANY LATE ASSIGNMENTS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES FOR ANY REASON.  LAB ASSIGNMENTS NOT TURNED IN ON TIME ARE AN AUTOMATIC ZERO.

MYITLAB is a software program that we will be using for this class.  Your code comes with your textbook.

GRADING:  Tests 40%   Attendance 25%  Lab Assignments 25%  MidSemester Exam 5% Final Exam 5%.
