Chapter 6 Exam

Chapters 5 and 6 in your textbook discuss computer hardware.  Go to the following web site to do research on computer hardware:  http://computer.howstuffworks.com/motherboard1.htm and answer the following questions in sentence and paragraph format:

1. What did the first IBM Pc have on its motherboard?
2. There are several pictures of motherboards you can link to.  Include a picture of a motherboard and describe what it is.  Place the picture to the left and the text to the right of the picture.

4. What is the chipset?  Name the two parts of the chipset and what they do.

6. What is dual data rate memory.  Include a picture.
