Course Overview

Course Description

This course provides students with basic concepts of health, safety and nutrition as they apply to the care and education of young children. Students will acquire those skills necessary for incorporating critical concepts into programming and curriculum in a wide variety of early childhood settings.

Learning Objectives
In addition to weekly class meetings, requirements will include

Grade of "C" or better required for all Human Services Program students.
