Fundamentals of Writing (ENGL 1050)

Text: English Skills, 7^th edition. John Langan

Class meets two or three days per week. Generally, one or two days are scheduled in the computerized writing classroom, RM 1830 at Flanagan Campus. Students work on writing assignments during those sessions, with the instructor offering "editorial support." The other class each week is a lecture class or a grammar workshop.

Coursework includes paragraph writing, essays, grammar quizzes, library usage, a research paper, a final exam, and workshops related to writing success.
